AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performing supercharger, turbo, nitrous, head/cam, engines, brakes and suspension installs.
Diagnosing and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning and fuel systems etc.
Explaining mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to associates and customers.
Continuously learning new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS:
Highly motivated Ability to think ahead and outside the box
Team player (Our employees have careers not jobs)
Willing to take responsibility
Willing to learn
3 to 5 years experience in the automotive industry preferred, but not required.
High school diploma / College or tech school degree preferred
Must be able to pass a drug test
Hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications highly preferred
Must be able to pass a drug test
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications highly preferred
Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
Working knowledge of shop equipment such as diagnostic equipment, Chassis Dyno, tuning software,fabrication equipment, welding, wheel and tire equipment, diagnostic equipment etc.)
